The pairing of Cattleya Walkeriana 'Couto' AM/AOS x 'Suprema' represents a highly anticipated crossing of two exceptional C. walkeriana cultivars. This breeding combines 'Couto's' award-winning shape with 'Suprema's' renowned large, flat, and full floral form.
Prefers bright, filtered light. High light is crucial for blooming Walkeriana. Provide a distinct wet-and-dry cycle. Water thoroughly, but ensure the potting media dries out completely between waterings.
Because they have specific root sensitivities, they do best when mounted on cork, tree fern, or potted in a very coarse, fast-draining mix (such as chunky bark or lava rock) in net pots or clay pots.
